Atlantic Wind Transfers is seeking a Senior Deckhand / AB to join our offshore wind Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) operations based in Quonset Point, RI. This is a full-time, non-rotational position —candidates must be based locally or willing to relocate. Housing is not provided.
As Senior Deckhand, you'll play a critical role onboard, supporting the Captain in the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the vessel. This is a hands-on position requiring strong seamanship, mechanical awareness, and the ability to lead and support crew in a dynamic offshore environment.
Assist the Captain with safe vessel operations during crew transfer missions
Support and help lead deck crew in daily onboard tasks
Perform routine vessel maintenance and upkeep
Ensure compliance with all company safety, security, and operational procedures
Assist with the safe transfer of offshore personnel to and from wind farm structures
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the vessel
Contribute to a strong, team-oriented onboard culture
STCW Basic Training required
Valid TWIC card
Strong seamanship and situational awareness
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform hands-on maintenance
Ability to work in a fast-paced, offshore environment
Positive attitude and strong team mindset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Work on modern, high-performance vessels in the offshore wind industry
