Join the Lee Street Garage Team — Service Technician Wanted
Automotive Technician – Tired of Dealership Flat Rate?
Tired of working hours you don’t get paid for?
You know the routine.
You perform a complete multipoint inspection because the dealership requires it — but nobody pays you for the time.
You get handed warranty work that calls for 3 hours when you know it’s going to take 5.
You spend your week watching your flagged hours while still being expected to be at the shop 40+ hours.
And then there’s Saturday.
If you’re a dealership technician who’s starting to wonder why you’re still putting up with it, Lee Street Garage may be the change you’re looking for.
A Family-Owned Shop Where Your Time Matters
Lee Street Garage is a family-owned independent repair shop in McDonald, PA .
We’re looking for an experienced Automotive Technician who wants to get away from the dealership environment and work somewhere that respects both your skills and your time.
Here’s what you WON’T deal with here:
NO WARRANTY WORK.
We’re not cutting your time because a manufacturer decided a 4-hour repair should suddenly pay 2.5.
NO UNPAID INSPECTIONS.
If you’re working, you should be getting paid.
NO WEEKENDS.
Your weekends belong to you and your family.
NO STANDING AROUND THE SHOP FOR FREE.
If you’re willing to put in the hours, we’re willing to pay you for them.
What You WILL Get
Competitive technicians pay
Paid for every hour you work
Monday–Friday schedule
No weekends
No manufacturer warranty times
No dealership politics
A family-owned and operated shop
Modern diagnostic and repair work
A team that appreciates experienced technicians
An opportunity to earn a good living without sacrificing your personal life
Who We’re Looking For
We’re especially interested in technicians currently working at a new-car dealership who have strong diagnostic and repair skills but are tired of the dealership compensation model.
If you’ve spent years investing in your tools, training, certifications, and abilities, your paycheck should reflect the time and expertise you bring to the shop.
You already know how to fix cars.
You shouldn’t have to fight the warranty book, unpaid inspections, and Saturday schedules just to make a living.
Ready to Leave the Dealership Behind?
Come work for a local family shop where an hour worked is an hour paid.
